About a year ago, I had some sort of chronic vocal chord inflammation and irritation. I didn't know what was wrong with my throat... I couldn't sing anymore. I normally had a wide range and loved to sing in church, but my voice for about six months would only come out as a whisper when I sang.
I made an appointment with an ENT doctor, fully expecting to need a minor throat surgery.
Two days before my doctor's appointment, I had met some local church leaders over lunch. We discussed the goodness of God and our vision for the community. We shared mighty testimonies and the Lord began to move at that lunch meeting. Our meeting was coming to an end, and I mentioned the need for prayer for my throat. The pastor did a simple prayer over me, but nothing happened at that moment.
The next morning, as I was getting ready for work, I proceeded to swallow a large prescription pill. The pill happened to get lodged in my throat and I began to choke! I had to force my body forward and dis-lodge the pill. It was an ugly feeling (and a little embarrasing!). It hurt, too.
I got into my vehicle and blasted my praise music as normal... but something different happened that morning... when I opened my mouth to sing, I had a voice! It was back! And the only thing I can imagine is that the Lord caused the pill to get lodged in the right place to remove whatever callous was on my vocal cords. HE performed my throat surgery. Praise the Lord!
"They overcame him [Satan] by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony..." Rev. 12:11 Faith comes by hearing... and we want to build your faith. Read about the miracles that God has done, and get to know my Jesus... He wants a relationship with you!

Friend Healed of Diverticulitis
I have a friend named Grayce, who had been diagnosed with diverticulitis. I didn't know much about this disease until she informed me about its nature and complications. Long description short, it is a digestive disease found in the large intestine that can be the source of cramping and pain, among other nasty side effects. It's an ugly disease. She asked for prayer, and in doing so, put into action Matthew 18:19-20. God promises to answer our prayers and that He is among us when two or more are gathered in His name. We believed in the Lord to give Grayce a new intestine, and for the disease to go away in the name of Jesus.
Grayce was scheduled for a follow-up colonoscopy on a Tuesday morning. She nervously awaited for the results. The doctor met with her and informed her that there was no sign of infection or inflammation in her intestine! Her tissues were completely normal and healthy. Grayce was astonished and reported the results, and we give full glory to God, through His Son, Jesus! Thank you for being our healer!!!

An "I Love You" Reminder from God
Many of you remember the Kite Miracle event that happened at the end of August. Well, 6 months later... we found the kite string! On Valentine's day! This isn't just a random coincidence! Late August, we watched our kite fly - string and all -miles and miles away (to the south of us) until it was just a speck in the sky... the Lord brought it back that night as witnessed by three people. We never retrieved it... as that would have meant climbing on the roof at 10pm. Over the past months I've always wondered and hoped with expectation to find the kite. Well, this afternoon while looking for lost softballs, I looked up to find the kite string wrapped around some powerlines at the end of our property line (to the north of us). He is just amazing. And He gives us solid proof of our testimonies. I am so in love with our Lord and Savior. Are you?

Blessed Through Obedience
This might seem strange to some, but God does indeed speak to his people through visions and dreams. One Saturday morning, I had a dream about a terrible car accident. People were laying all over the road, and one person in particular had a bad arm injury. I walked over to this person, laid my hands over their arm, and proclaimed healing in the name of Jesus, and witnessed immediate recovery. I woke from this dream, recalling the details vividly, but didn't think much of its significance.
The next day at church, I was invited to pray with the praise team before they led worship. We were standing in a circle, holding hands, and the man to my right mentioned that his employee and her family were in a terrible car accident, and they were badly injured. Immediately, I remembered my dream, but did not say anything at that moment.
The next day at work, I felt the incredible urgency to share the message of this dream with someone who would listen and not think I was crazy! I called one of the lay leaders and told him of my dream and the message that there would be healing. I asked him to find out if someone's arm was injured in that accident, because if there was, there would be healing. He made the call...
He passed the message of this dream to the man who had the prayer request, who in turn called his employee that was in the accident. She mentioned that her mom had a bad arm injury and could not lift her arm at all. He delivered the message that there would be healing in the name of Jesus. THE MINUTE THE WOMAN'S MOTHER WITH THE INJURED ARM PICKED UP HER PHONE TO RECEIVE THE MESSAGE OF THIS DREAM, HER ARM WAS IMMEDIATELY HEALED!
God's healing is for everyone. He is the same yesterday, today and forevermore. Don't be afraid to deliver the message!

Kite Flying Miracle
This is probably the most incredible miracle I have encountered, personally. God took something insignificant... a plastic $2 kite, and did something absolutely amazing... It was a Wednesday evening at our Canyon Lake, Texas home, and there was a rainstorm coming our way. The conditions were windy outside and my husband and I decided it was a perfect time to fly a kite with the kids.
We had a glorious time, it was great! We managed to get the kite so caught up in the wind current that the kids only had to stand there to fly it. No running necessary! Noah, my 2-year-old, was holding onto the kite when he accidentally let it go, and the kite flew up, up, up, and away. We chased it to the front yard, and then watched it from the balcony of our house until it was so far away it became just a speck in the sky.
It seemed like it was miles away when I got the brilliant idea to take a picture of it and scrapbook our kite-flying together. It was just a sweet, sweet moment with my family. As I was on the balcony, I thought, "God, It would be so cool if you would bring it back..." which would be virtually impossible.
This was at 7:45 pm. After that, I put the boys to bed and Jake and I watched a movie.
A couple hours later, towards the end of the movie, Noah was crying for his pacifier - which is odd in itself, because normally when I put him down to sleep, he would RARELY wake up until morning... So, to comfort this sweet, crying boy, we looked and looked for a pacifier. Under the couch, in couch cushions, under beds... We couldn't find a pacifier anywhere. I got an idea to look in my van, which was parked in our driveway outside the house, to see if one was in there. When I went outside, I HEARD THE KITE FLYING ABOVE OUR HOUSE! I ran inside to get my husband, and we searched the night sky for it. The neighbors were outside too, finishing a back yard project.
It was so loud - a cheap plastic $2 dinosaur cartoon kite flying in the wind. It was unmistakable. I went to the backyard with a flashlight and determined that the kite was hovering over our house at about 20-25 feet, just flapping in the wind. The kite hovered for a good 30 minutes or more. I went to sleep just thinking how cool God is to show us a sign that would bring us such awe and joy. He heard my thoughts! And it wasn't even a formal prayer, just a seemingly random, but specific, thought towards God.
We didn't find it in the yard the following morning, but it's still a confirmed miracle with several witnesses, as the neighbor's son confirmed seeing the kite caught on our roof. (I don't see HOW it was caught on our roof, but hey, it was there!) I think it's funny that I was prompted to take a picture of it while it was flying away... now we have documented proof of how far away it was!
I believe in my heart that God was telling me that night, "I know your thoughts, and I care about the little things. I will SHOW you that I love you - even if it's using something as insignificant as a $2 kite." Our God is so cool. I feel as though I were hugged by Him. Such an awesome, awesome moment.

God, the Devine Director
At the community I manage, a precious couple moved in after suffering the loss of their home and business in Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina. They began to build their lives in San Antonio, opening up a business, and living day by day as God led them. My staff and I knew bits and pieces about their needs... my maintenance staff had entered their apartment to complete work orders, and knew that they did not have any furniture.
Jack, my lead maintenance, came to my office one day and told me that someone had left behind a dining room table and chairs and a couch with a note to "donate to Goodwill." Jack asked my permission to deliver this furniture to our 'Hurricane' residents. I told him yes and went on with my work.
After Jack and the guys took the furniture to their apartment, he rushed back to my office. "Autumn," he told me, "It was the most amazing thing. We knocked on their door and Katerain answered the door. We told them that we had furniture for them. She fell to her knees, crying and praising the Lord because her and her husband had JUST been praying to be blessed with furniture! Right that moment before we were there!"
And of course, from the devine orchestration of these events and the word of this testimony, I got goosebumps all over my body, and couldn't help but to rejoice right along with them. God is just amazing. My friends, 'coincidence' is God anonymously orchestrating people and events to work for our good. We must give Him the glory!

Heart Surgery by the Hand of God
I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been meaning to share this one for some time.
I got a call in September that my sister Jerri Lynne was going to be having heart surgery. They had found blockage in one of her arteries and were going to install a stint to open up the artery and keep the blood pumping through her heart.
Usually when I pray and have heard people pray for surgeries, they pray for God's guidance over the surgeon's hand, etc. I was not led to pray for the surgeon. Instead, I was lead to pray for the blockage to dissipate and be gone in the name of Jesus. I prayed until I felt a release of this urgency. I woke the next morning, and on my way to work, Jerri's daughter, Michelle, called me. I answered her call and she said, "You would not believe what happened in surgery." I could hear the excitement in her voice. I asked eagerly for her to tell me. She said, "The doctors began to operate, and found that the blockage was COMPLETELY GONE!" Praise the Lord! They stopped the surgery early and did not have to install a stint!
Friends, I cannot stress enough that the Lord is there to hear our prayers. He is our Father and we are His children. He loves us tremendously and will perform mighty miracles for you, if you believe. It's so incredibly simple, that most people find it impossible. If you are seeking a relationship with Jesus Christ or need prayer please contact me at autumnchaulklin@yahoo.com. These miracles are not just for people here and there... they are for EVERYONE, and miracles and answers to prayers are just waiting to be released from Heaven.

Criminal brought to my door
I manage a large apartment community. It is gated, with a push-button keypad kiosk that you can drive up to and enter a code for the gate to open. One day, not too long ago, this crazy woman was driving, weaving in and out of lanes, and she turned into my community and smashed into the computer kiosk, completely destroying it. She drove off with a smashed front-end, and flat tire. A staff member and I drove through the nearby neighborhoods, looking for her vehicle. I couldn't imagine that she could get very far!
I was getting increasingly irritated at the cost of replacing this computer kiosk, and the inconvenience it would cause my residents to not have a closed entry gate. And this criminal - guilty of a hit and run - was out on the loose, a danger to society, and herself! I prayed PASSIONATELY to God to deliver this woman... I wanted her delivered to my door! "Bring her to me, Lord!" I prayed. After searching for her for about a half hour, I went back to my office.
I made all of the proper police reports and went home, just irritated. I can't stand for people to cause such damage and get away with it! It's not fair! Not fair for my residents, not fair for anyone!
The VERY NEXT DAY, I went to work, and within 10 minutes of me being there, I got a report. One of my painters came in and said, "We know who ran over the gate." Turns out, it was one of my former residents, and I had her new address! Long story short, the police were able to get enough information for me to contact the vehicle owner's insurance company, and the repairs are covered! Amen! God takes care of us!

Miraculous Healing
The other day I had a preacher come to my office and try to tell me that God does not perform miracles anymore. I don't know what god he worships, but my God does MIGHTY things! I am proud to say that I believe in a God that can do ALL THINGS! I worship the God that created this earth and put stars in the universe. I worship a God that is the Great Physician! It broke my heart - I pitied the disbelief in this man, but moreso, I cried for the unsaved and baby believers who will listen and possibly believe what he says.
I emailed Sue Smith, and asked her permission to post a powerful testimony of hers on this website. She granted me that permission, and much more.... Read this...
Hi, again! Yes, by all means put it out there and any others I mentioned. Did I ever tell you about my friend, Joyce Scarborough, who had a large cancerous mole on her foot and the doctor was going to take more than half of her foot off? She and Carolyn Giffen came over to my house to pray (this has been about 15 or 20 years ago)and we asked God to heal her. After praying, God gave me a word of knowledge that He had indeed healed her foot and that she and her husband were to go away by themselves and seek God for confirmation before allowing the surgery. They did, and God confirmed to them both that she was not to let the doctor do surgery without another biopsy. The doctor just about had a fit and did not want to do another test, but Joyce and Lamont insisted. The report came back negative and soon the entire black mole dried up and fell off!!!!!!!!! NO SURGERY!!!!
I know the paint story will blow people's minds, but I can't explain why God did it except He is just GOOD and had mercy on me!!!!! Then there's the story of Heather Kay's dog, Chaser, and God healing his back. Then there's the story about my granddaughter, Elizabeth, who hit her two front teeth 3 different times on hard surfaces when she was very small (around 3 years). Each time they began to turn dark and each time we prayed and believed God to restore the nerves that were damaged, and each time He did, and the color came back to white again and each time they tightened in their sockets again!!! God is just flat out GOOD and MERCIFUL, and that's all we can say about it.
Some people out there (even preachers) just can't handle miracles because not everyone gets one when they pray. Hey, that's not going to keep me from asking for one; at 63 years of age I've seen dozens and dozens of miracles and supernatural answers to prayers... for me to quit believing now---ha! Those who don't believe in God's supernatural ability to do miracles have a little god. The God you and I serve, Jesus and Jehovah Almighty the Father, is a great and powerful God. He is the ONLY GOD; all others just try to be. God sometimes heals gradually and sometime we get an instant miracle. He is in charge. We pray and believe and then leave the results to Him. Don't bother giving unbelievers like that preacher a book on demons as they don't believe in them either. I wonder who they think is behind all the evil. It is the fallen angel, himself, satan and his demons. And you're right, he has one working over time on him.....the spirit of unbelief. Poor man. If he ever needs a miracle, he'll be hard pressed to get one. Good hearing from you. May the Lord continue to bless and keep you near His loving and all wise heart. Luv, Sue

Amazing Testimony - A Dent Fixed, and New Paint Job by the Hand of God!!!
Autumn, it happened about 15 yrs. ago right after I had purchased a new red car. I drove up to the cleaners and wheeled in, but could tell I was just a tad over the white line on my right side. A thought came that I should straighten the car, but I didn't as there were several places on either side of me that someone could park in, and I was in a hurry. When I returned, a large pickup truck had purposely parked close to the right side of my car and slammed his huge door into mine, which dented the door and took a hunk of red paint off.
I was sick inside. Why hadn't I listened to what I deemed now was the Lord trying to help me out, as He knew what was about to happen. At that time, but not now as he has mellowed, my sweet husband would have made a federal case out of it, and I would have never heard the end of it. I went home, fell down on my face in my closet and cried out to God to forgive me for ignoring His voice and begged Him to please fix my car so I wouldn't have to go through the ordeal with my husband. After much weeping and prayer, I felt lead to go put my hands on the place and ask God to release His mighty power to smooth out the dent and repaint the door. I spoke to the metal molecules and commanded them in the name of Jesus to smooth out and did the same concerning the paint. I told God that I knew there was nothing He couldn't do and that I was believing Him for this great miracle. I did this for the next couple of days every time I would go into the garage.
On the third day, I went out to check, and it was fixed!!!!!!!!!!!! No dent and no scrape!!!!!!!!!! I got out my flashlight and checked.....No evidence of anything ever happening. I was ecstatic as you can well imagine, and I have told this story ever since to the great glory of God.
Since then I have nicked by car and prayed that He would do the same, but He hasn't. But now, my husband doesn't make a big deal of it like he did then. I know it was just His loving mercy and grace because of my repentant heart for having not listened to His voice, that He just wanted to bless me and not have me go through the ordeal with my husband.
Another testimony is that on three different occasions, my first granddaughter fell and hit her front teeth when she was around 2 to 2-1/2 years old , and they started to turn dark. My daughter, Suzanne, and I prayed and and believed God to heal the roots and each time He did. She is 22 years old now, has never had any problem with those teeth which are perfectly beautiful. I've seen many miracles during my life. There is nothing our Heavenly Father cannot do.
One time when our youngest daughter, Heather, was in college, she called crying that her dog, Chaser, her cocker spaniel was going to have to have spinal surgery--according to the vet. So I told her to lay her hands on his back and we would believe God to heal him------and He did. She took him back to the vet and his spine was just fine. He lived to be nearly 18 years old and never had a back problem again as he continued to jump on and off of everything like a puppy. The many miracles of God I've witnessed could fill a book. Tell you some more another time. Lovingly, Sue

For The Married Folks
I've seen two marriages saved in the last couple of months... saved by the Blood of the Lamb. Do you realize that Jesus gave us the power he has? Read John 14:12... it says...
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father."
DO YOU REALIZE WHAT THIS MEANS? We have the power... IF WE BELIEVE ON JESUS... to do the works of Jesus, and greater works at that. We can save marriages. We can heal. We can cast out demons. All in the name of Jesus.
I think it's a great, great tragedy when two married believers are torn apart. Marriages can be prayed back together every day. Our God is a God of reconciliation. Nothing is impossible.
On that note... I want all of you to become aware that the WORST advise you can EVER give someone is, "Do what makes you happy." Absolutely not. The Bible says to "Seek ye first the kingdom of God." When you do what makes you "happy," you are attempting to take control of a life (yours) that does not belong to you in the first place. How much MORE can God do for you when you give Him control of your life? Hmmm. Think visually.. You controlling what makes you happy (momentarily) vs. God controlling what makes you happy (eternally). Giving God control can be painful at first, but worth every effort, and the rewards are so numerous, they cannot be counted.
Stay in your marriage. Encourage others to stay in theirs. Problems can be fixed. People can be saved. Even if you don't FEEL love, adoration, respect for your spouse... all of those words are in the dictionary as VERBS. Action words. I promise you this... DO THE ACTION, and the FEELINGS WILL FOLLOW. Ask the Lord to love your spouse THROUGH you. God is so much more capable of loving than we are. When HE is in control of our lives, we become vessels of his love for others. Isn't that amazing? Don't believe me? Look it up. Try to prove me wrong. You'll be amazed at what you find!!!

The Great Mechanic
I just had an incredible miracle happen... It just cannot be explained away by anything other than the mighty hand of God.
The best way for me to illustrate this is by posting emails from a recent prayer request I had... My emails are in BOLD. Sue's emails are in Italics.
Here it goes...
Dear Sue,
Hope you are doing well!
This might sound a little strange, but I was wondering if you can pray for my van?
I was in an accident on April 30th... rear-ended by a guy going 60 mph - his foot got stuck to the gas pedal. Anyway, the bodywork just got completed, and I picked up my van today. But it is sucking up gas like a 4-year-old eating ice cream. I usually get about 22 miles per gallon, and as of driving it today, it's giving me around 10. I couldn't smell a gas leak...I've called the dealership and they are going to "get back to me." Will you agree with me in prayer that God will heal my van. It causes my blood pressure to sky rocket with each mile I drive! I have a 40-mile commute to work - 80 miles round trip - so you can imagine my agony!
Thanks for all you do!!
~ Autumn
Precious Autumn, I do believe God can heal your van and my prayer is this, as I don't want to assume on this one the WAY in which He'll make it good again...
Father---please see to it that Autumn's van once again gets the good milage it once did; in fact, Father, we ask for better than it once did since the cost of gasoline is so high. We ask, Lord, that if she is to take it back to the dealership that the dealership do the right thing and that You give them Your wisdom to find out what is wrong. But, Lord, we know you don't need any human to fix this. We ask You, mighty and all power Father, to take care of this according to Your wisdom and all wise plans. We know You can take care of this problem, and we humbly ask You to show Yourself strong to do it that You might receive GREAT glory and that Autumn might testify to this great miracle. Lord, I remember when You took a dent out of my car and painted it Yourself by a great miracle. If this is indeed something You want for a great and glorious testimony, we come into agreement together and boldy ask for it now and thank You for it. In Jesus' name, Amen and Amen!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hallelujah and praise Your wonderful, matchless, powerful name, and we take authority over any and all demon foes that would try to hinder Your mighty work on this earth in this situation; we plead the blood of Jesus around this situation as a boundary no demon can penetrate and we plead in by faith in the authority of the strong name of Jesus---according to Luke 10:19. We love You, Father. You are truly a wonderful and awesome God and our wonderful, wonderful, wonderful Father. Faithful and true are YOU, and we love and adore YOU not for what You do for us---which is countless and matchless---but for WHO YOU ARE! Have a wonderful day walking with our Saviour, my precious little sister in the Lord. It is always my pleasure and blessing to agree with you in prayer.....Lovingly, Your sister-in Christ, Sue
PS--I love the way you love and trust the Lord, Autumn. He'll never disappoint you.
Okay, well let me tell you what happened.
I anointed my van with oil yesterday and prayed over it. I was nearly having a panic attack over this gas situation. I got home, and my husband left for the evening to see his brother (it was his brother's birthday). So after I got the boys to bed, I turned on TBN and they were doing a re-cap of 2007 with a lot of positive messages. I started to feel a manifestation of the Holy Spirit in my room, and I just began weeping - happy weeping - and just telling Jesus how much I love him, etc. I felt tremendous joy - explosive joy. I woke up the next morning (today) got the boys ready and we headed out. I was believing for a miracle, but just in case, I wanted proof of the poor gas mileage I was getting.
I filled up my van. It took 5.26 gallons to fill it up, after going 64 miles. That equals out to 12 miles per gallon. I have a mechanism on my van that tells me for each moment what my miles per gallon are. It also tells me how many miles I have to go before I need to fill up again. The miles I had to go was at 348. I drove 35 miles to work. I looked at how far the miles went down.. typically, it would be accurate to assume that 348-35 miles would be 313 miles left before I would have to fill up again. This would assume my normal 20-ish miles per gallon. Are you following me? Well, this is the miracle... my miles-to-go was reading at 330. This means I went 35 miles and only registered going 18 for my gas mileage. I'm no math wizard, but if my calculations are correct, I got 39 miles per gallon on my way into work this morning!!! This is an absolute miracle of God, and these numbers cannot be denied! Praise the Lord!!!
YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAA GOD! He is really pulling out all the stops to give you some mighty miracles because He knows that you'll be sharing them with unbelievers, Autumn. I absolutely love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I sensed the anointing and felt my faith rise after I started asking Him for your miracle today without knowing He had already done it, so I'm not surprised, but ecstatically grateful. Thanks again for sharing. Isn't it just like the Lord to give you more milage than you were getting----gotta luv it!!! Here's loving you and loving our chats--------Sue

He Will Send Help
When I lived in Dallas, I didn't have close close friends that I could confide in and pray with. I went through a time in which I needed a physical healing in my body. I had been in and out of the doctor's office, had surgery, and was not healing properly. I cried out to the Lord to SEND SOMEONE to pray with me in agreement, so my prayer would be answered.
“I also tell you this: If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you. For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.” Matthew 18:19-20.
I held on to this truth written in the Word.
The next day, I went to work. I was a leasing consultant at an apartment community. This woman came in to look at a three-bedroom apartment. I took her on the grand tour, and as we spoke, she told me that she was in women's ministry in downtown Dallas. I smiled to myself. This was a woman of God. As we went back to the office, she sat at my desk and said, "You know, I really don't know why I'm here. I just moved in to a three-bedroom down the street, and I'm happy there. I have no plans to move."
I told her, "I know why you are here. Last night I prayed for someone to come pray with me. I need healing." With that, she grabbed my hands and prayed over me. She prophesied over me. I received healing in that moment.
This isn't a testimony of healing. The miracle came when the Lord SENT HELP when I asked for it. The rest of the testimony is a promise that the Lord makes to his followers. That's the thing about child-like faith... If you take the Word of God at face-value, his promises always prove to be true.

In The Depths of Despair
Did you know that Jesus is ALWAYS there... even in the deepest, darkest, depth of despair? There was a time not long ago that I felt that way. I felt as though my life was coming to a crashing halt. I felt abandoned and afraid. I felt utterly hopeless.
I cried out to the Lord that night... through the anger and the tears, "Jesus, I need you! I need to know that you are there and that you hear me! Show me that you are there!"
I tried to busy myself with housework that night. Walking back and forth from the laundry room, I heard a noise. It was the computer. It was playing music - which was funny, because the speakers were previously NOT WORKING. The music was playing on the computer WITH NO OPEN PROGRAM. Over and over again, "His Eye is on the Sparrow" song was on. I don't know if any of you have heard that song, but these are the words, below. I can't think of a more perfect song I needed to hear during that moment in time, but God knew.
Why should I feel discouraged, why should the shadows come,
Why should my heart be lonely, and long for heaven and home,
When Jesus is my portion? My constant friend is He:
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.
I sing because I'm happy,
I sing because I'm free,
For His eye is on the sparrow,
And I know He watches me.
"Let not your heart be troubled," His tender word I hear,
And resting on His goodness, I lose my doubts and fears;
Though by the path He leadeth, but one step I may see;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.
I sing because I'm happy,
I sing because I'm free,
For His eye is on the sparrow,
And I know He watches me.
Whenever I am tempted, whenever clouds arise,
When songs give place to sighing, when hope within me dies,
I draw the closer to Him, from care He sets me free;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.
I sing because I'm happy,
I sing because I'm free,
For His eye is on the sparrow,
And I know He watches me.

He gives us the desires of our heart!
There is a lot of power to the verse "Seek ye first the kingdom of God... and all these things will be added unto you." He gives us the desires of our heart IF we seek Him in all that we do.
In the last eight years, I've worked hard as a mother and a wife... I've burned the candle at both ends. Women do that often, but forget to realize and give themselves credit that when they are serving husbands and children, they are being great examples of Jesus Christ to their families.
Well, there were plenty of times where I may have over-extended myself. Those were the times that I prayed to the Lord for a back massage. I'm serious. I wanted a back massage, and didn't have the money to spoil myself. AND ALL OF THESE PRAYERS WERE ANSWERED!!!
The first time it was answered, I received a free massage at a Christmas party in a raffle drawing. The second time it was answered, a woman I was helping purchased a massage for me as a token of her appreciation (without me mentioning anything to her!). The third time it was answered, a manager at a beauty spa gave me a free massage in exchange for free advertising at my office.
God cares about our feelings. He cares about what we might feel is "excessive," and gives us gifts beyond what we can imagine. You just have to open your eyes and realize where these blessings come from to truly appreciate who our Lord Jesus Christ is!!!

Two Pilots Run Out of Fuel, Pray, and Receive a Sign!!!
This is from www.msnbc.com
WELLINGTON, New Zealand - It seemed like an almost literal answer to their prayers. When two New Zealand pilots ran out of fuel in a microlight airplane they offered prayers and were able to make an emergency landing in a field — coming to rest right next to a sign reading, "Jesus is Lord."
Grant Stubbs and Owen Wilson, both from the town of Blenheim on the country's South Island, were flying up the sloping valley of Pelorus Sound when the engine spluttered, coughed and died.
"My friend and I are both Christians so our immediate reaction in a life-threatening situation was to ask for God's help," Stubbs told The Associated Press on Wednesday.
He said he prayed during the ill-fated flight Sunday that the tiny craft would get over the top of a ridge and that they would find a landing site that was not too steep — or in the nearby sea.
Wilson said that the pair would have been in deep trouble if the fuel had run out five minutes earlier.
"If it had to run out, that was the place to be," he said. "There was an instantaneous answer to prayer as we crossed the ridge and there was an airfield — I didn't know it existed till then."
After Wilson glided the powerless craft to a landing on the grassy strip, the pair noticed they were beside a 20-foot-tall sign that read, "Jesus is Lord — The Bible."
"When we saw that, we started laughing," Stubbs said.
Nearby residents provided them with gas to fly the home-built plane back to base.

When the pressure is ON...
In 2006 I managed an apartment community – a very large one – whose owners did not want to make some necessary repairs to the fire alarm system. Despite my continuous efforts to receive funds, my owners refused. I plead with the San Antonio Fire Inspector to PLEASE not cite me for this violation, since I, personally, was not responsible for cutting checks. He cited me anyway. This was a misdemeanor that would go on my personal record. I was forced to appear in court. It was very intimidating… The State of Texas vs. Autumn Chaulklin. And my company would not provide me with an attorney to represent me in court. (Thankfully, today, this company no longer manages properties in San Antonio.) I felt as if I were fighting an uphill battle by myself. Code violations are very hard to defend yourself against. They seem to follow the “guilty until proven innocent” standard of law.
My court date was on its way, and I gathered whatever information I could to prove that my company – not I – was refusing to handle this code violation. I didn’t feel that it would be right for me to pay a fine for their negligence… I didn’t feel that it was right for me to have to serve six months probation for a crime I did not commit! I talked with the prosecutor and plead for her to please have mercy. She didn’t. I told her I would like to have the case seen by the judge. I refused to plead guilty or no-contest.
The judge called the docket and I sat in the courtroom waiting and waiting. I got up to go to the restroom. In the stall I bowed my head and began to pray. I remembered a song by Casting Crowns that says, “I will praise you in this storm.” I said, “Lord, this is a storm. And I don’t know why I am going through this, but I’m going to bless you in it. Bless you. Thank you for this trial.” It was very difficult to say those words and mean it, but it was my OBEDIENCE that the Lord saw in that moment. I left the restroom and headed back for the courtroom. I opened the courtroom doors, and it was apparent that the judge had already called my name. “Autumn Chaulklin?” he asked. I approached the judge, “Yes, sir.” The next two words that came out of his mouth were the answer to my prayer, “Case dismissed.”
I stood there, stunned, for a moment. “What?” I asked. “Is that it? I’m free to go?” I couldn’t believe my ears. He told me, “Yes, you are excused. Thank you for coming in today.”
We need to start believing that the Lord is capable of handling our battles for us. Furthermore, we are told to praise the Lord at ALL times… when the pressure is on us, no matter how tremendous it may be, no matter what the storm, we need to praise the Lord.

God is Bigger than Infertility
I had my first son in October of 2003. In 2006, we were ready for another baby. It wasn’t difficult to get pregnant. I was very excited. When I went for my first doctor appointment, I learned that my precious baby was not in my womb, but was growing outside the womb and would not be a viable pregnancy. It was heart-wrenching to see this image of a baby that would never be. There is no way to save them. Ectopic pregnancies are not only devastating, but fatal if not detected early. Under careful watch, it got to the point where we decided chemotherapy was the best route to preserve my life and my fertility. I was crushed at losing this baby, but determined to still have more children. A couple of months later, I was back to my healthy self and ready to try again. I got pregnant again… but to my dismay, found that the baby - for the second time - was not in the womb. This time, the doctor treated the ectopic pregnancy with surgery and my chances of conceiving another child were reduced by 50%.
I didn’t understand why this was happening to me. I was under spiritual attack, and didn’t know what to do. A friend had recommended a book by Derek Prince, titled Blessings and Curses. After making sure this was truly Bible-based, I read about how curses on people lives could affect the ability to have children. It sounds like a creepy movie, but believe it or not, it’s the truth... It happened in the Bible and it still happens today. I wasn’t about to let the devil take charge of my life. I confessed, and prayed for forgiveness of my sins. I declared the Lord Jesus as the Lord of my life. I praised his name, and revoked any curse over my life. I did this out-loud in my bedroom, and believed that the Lord was going to work a miracle in my life.
I conceived Noah just a few months after that. I have been so blessed by his beautiful life… Noah is an answered prayer and every time I look at his chubby little face, I am reminded that God still answers prayers and performs miracles every day. The Lord is so faithful to us.
I didn’t understand why this was happening to me. I was under spiritual attack, and didn’t know what to do. A friend had recommended a book by Derek Prince, titled Blessings and Curses. Sergio's Miracle
If you read the post below (Titled "Huge Testimony"), what I'm about to post now will make more sense!
I was quick to share this experience with people close to me... people who would not think I’m crazy. I began to open up to strangers and ask them about their faith. I would cautiously tell my story. Often, I found that the more I shared, the more testimonies were shared with me… testimonies of miracles and prayers answered. It was beautiful. I would ponder on my way to the office how some people could not believe in God? How could they not? I didn’t understand how some people refuse to believe what I know to be absolutely true. What could I do to help open their eyes without pushing them away?
There were times I would bring myself to tears just thinking about family members and other people I loved that didn’t believe, and I felt an urgency like I’d never felt before.
I had another dream after the angel sighting. In my dream, I was standing on the balcony of my house. I looked out into the night sky and saw beams of light pouring down on houses in the neighborhood. But the light was not on every house. I looked up and saw that a light was upon my house, and in the sky, was a vision of a king sitting at a table. I spoke to this king in my dream, and asked him, “Am I going to be sitting at the table with the King?” He nodded yes. I then asked him, “Can Jake come with me?” He nodded yes. I know I spent more time conversing with the King, but I can’t remember what was said. I believe what I saw was a vision of the rapture. And that King was a vision of the King of Kings, who I will be reunited with, face to face, one day.
What hurts my heart is that in my dream, the beams of light were not on every house. This is going to be true when we are “taken the way of the saints.” Not all households are going to go. This breaks my heart. It truly pains me to know that some of my neighbors, no matter how good or friendly, will not join me in Heaven. I don’t want to be in a position where I have to ask myself, “Could I have done anything MORE? Could I have saved them? Could I have planted a seed?” I don’t want to have to ask myself that. That is why God has laid it on my heart to share my testimony.
In January of 2008, I remember sitting at my computer reading the local news. I read a story about a young man, aged 17, who got shot in the head at a party. It hurt my spirit to read this. He was at a party when some other party-goers got rambunctious and drove by, shooting. This young man pushed his girlfriend out of the way, and in doing so, he got shot in the head. The news report stated that he was in critical condition. I’m choosy about the news I read. I do not watch the news at night. It sends my blood pressure through the roof! I do, however, look at the news online and pick and choose what I want to read. I find that hearing the news on a daily basis makes people less sensitive to the events that happen around them. Someone might think, “Oh well, another guy got shot. So, what?” But this story pained me. It tugged at my heartstrings. I prayed for this boy. I did not know who he was, but something touched me.
A few days later, I was at work, and had a cable representative named Melissa visit me at my office. I had not met her before. She came into my office with the intention of telling me about a new program I could offer my clients. Our conversation blossomed, and we began talking about our family. We had a lot in common. She was building close to where I lived. She then shared with me that her nephew had just been shot in the head. I didn’t think I heard her right. I asked her about it, and sure enough, her nephew was the same teenager I had read about in the news. I asked questions. His name was Sergio, and he was in poor condition. The bullet had pierced his skull and the impact was so severe causing his brain to swell so much, that his mother had to make a choice – to let her son die, or to remove a portion of his skull in effort to relieve pressure from his brain so he could live. The brain scan reports were showing poor activity, and his mother was told that he could be a vegetable for the rest of his life. But she decided to try surgery. I can’t imagine a mother who wouldn’t. He was in a coma, and they had no idea when he would wake up – if he would wake up. They didn’t know if he would be the same boy they loved and raised. The family felt utterly hopeless.
I shared with her my experience with the angel. I shared my answered prayers about Aidan. I took down all of her family’s information so I could pray for them. Before she left, I told her, “There is ALWAYS hope in Jesus.” I gave her a big hug before she left. After she was gone, I immediately called people I knew who were Christians so they could start praying for this boy. One man of God that I called told me that Sergio was going to be okay… that his mother made the right choice to have the surgery. What I did next scared the crap out of me.
I was afraid to make this call, but something in me had to do it. I called Melissa and told her, “Sergio’s going to be okay. His mom made the right choice to have surgery.” I could hear Melissa’s heart rejoicing. I could hear hope being restored. After I got off the phone, I got down to business and prayed for God to not make me a liar. I believed in Sergio’s recovery. I believed in his healing. I just prayed and prayed.
A couple of days later, I received a text message from Melissa. It read, “Sergio just opened his eyes and moved his leg!!!” Thank God. I called my prayer partners to share the good news. One responded, “Did you believe anything less?” Did I believe in anything less? All I know is that I hoped and I prayed. And I did believe. I believe we have a God of all possibilities. We have a God who answers the prayers of his children. I believe his Word when it says, We know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. Romans 8:28.
The next day I received another text from Melissa stating, “Sergio is now squeezing his mom’s hand when she tells him to and responding to her voice by opening his eyes!” What fantastic news! I rejoiced and prayed for continuous recovery.
Weeks later, Melissa stopped by my office and informed me that Sergio was moved to a rehabilitation hospital, that he could remember long-term and short-term events, he could laugh and relate happily with others. Sergio is a miracle. I still believe in his full recovery and can’t wait to meet him.
It is such a privilege to see God at work in people close to me. And what I really love to testify is that the miracles and answered prayers do not stop there…
